The group would like to thank everyone who attended the Open Evening at Furzeham School on Tuesday November 8th.
John Risdon, local historian, gave an entertaining and very knowledgeable talk about the history of the Brixham branch line. This was followed by an informative talk about the proposed heritage trail from the group’s Project Leader, Glen Gardner. Glen also introduced members of the group to the audience, a Q & A session followed.
There was a mini exhibition with interesting facts and photos of the branch.
